Twenty minutes warmup on the treadmill, fifty minutes strength training and stretches. But my weight is steadily going up, now I’m at 304, this does not make me happy.
The trainer says - ignore the weight, don’t use the scales. Right.

Went though the winter without getting sick and now I’m taking better care of myself, I’ve had a cold for four days. Ironic. Had to cut back on the treadmill and just do minor workouts.

So I’m supposed to eat more. I’ve been tracking my diet, and generally I eat only two or three meals a day. I’m perfectly content to eat breakfast, skip lunch and eat dinner.
Of course to be honest, I’m probably in denial and munching little high fat snacks every hour.
Now I’m told I’m eating too little for breakfast and to add a whole wheat bagel. I used to eat one for breakfast most days, and was so pleasews that I managed to stop, that to be told to put in back in, does not make me happy.
I also have to eat five or six meals a day, this is crazy.

After a week of just loosening up - I feel some rocks just fell on me. Twenty minutes on the treadmill, and a half hour of serious stretching and pushing. I’m wiped. I didn’t know my trainer was going to push me like this.

The trainer’s ground rules
- Make a written contract and read it every day
- Plan on losing no more than two pounds a week
- Do not weigh - do not use scales
- Look at how your clother fit and how you feel - ignore the weight
- Allow one day a week to eat what you want (without going crazy)
Ok, but I can’t ignore the scales - despite the fact that everyone says to not weigh more than once a week - I’m going to keep weighing every morning. My scales are commercial and accurate and my morning weight is a good guidline to how I’m doing, even though it may vary over 5 pounds during the day.

Finally have a personal trainer.
Not quite my first one, I did get someone to set up a basic workout several years ago, but it was so boring, I stopped doing it after a week.
Since I work out of my house doing computer support work, he’s coming to the house and going to use some equipment I have - mostly a treadmill, and chairs and stairs.
I’m 300 pounds, up some from last month.
